‘Together, developing a love of learning.’
At Cullercoats Primary School we aim to create a welcoming, friendly, caring and happy environment where everyone is valued, respected and encouraged to reach their full potential. We believe that by working together our school setting will provide the basis for effective teaching and learning and prepare our children for the future.
We believe that children benefit the most when links between school and home are strong. Consequently, we ask all parents to enter into a partnership to ensure that as much information as possible about each child’s academic progress and behaviour is shared.
We offer many opportunities for parents to view and discuss their child’s work. Parents are encouraged to play an active role in the education process and are asked to enter into our Home-School Agreement, which states:
Our intention at Cullercoats Primary School is to maximise the development of the personal, physical and intellectual growth of the whole school community within a supportive learning environment.
Cullercoats Primary School – Proud of our pupils, their performance and progress and positively promoting Physical Education and participation in Sport.
Our commitment to PE and Sport throughout the school has resulted in the following awards.
Cullercoats is awarded the School Games Gold Kitemark for a second year.
